The Egg Drop Challenge

This Friday the Whetu team had to make something that can support an egg when you drop it off of something high. I worked with Ben and Franklin to make it we got to use 2 balloons, some yarn, 3 straws, a paper bag, tape, scissors, newspaper, and an old sock that I brought from home. It was cool to see the egg yolk burst out of the sock our egg broke so we did not win. I think we were a shooting star.

My 2020 term 2 reflection

The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most this term is the Blog Challenge. You don’t have to do it but I do because it is very fun. My favourite one was the ‘’In 10 years’’ because I did it on my birthday, so I could say I would be twenty.

Something that has challenged me this term has been the Maths Challenge because I had not done it before. I did not know how to do it which meant it was very hard but I got used to it.

The Whetu Challenge I enjoyed the most was the Catapult Challenge because I was an expert and I did it very well. I was in a team with Franklin and Ben, our catapult made it into the finals but we did not win.

The opt-in workshop I enjoyed the most was the Bean Growing because I love to eat them raw. I planted a bean and it looked like it would not sprout but during the weekend it had a growth spurt and now it is a big bean.
